Project Supervisory Design Process
Implementing the highest standards across the most complex projects
The Safety, Health and Welfare (Construction) Regulations 2013 from the Health and Safety Authority mandate the appointment of a Project Supervisor Design Process (PDSP) on all but very smallest and shortest construction projects. The PSDP is responsible for a number of essential tasks related to health and safety compliance, beginning at the design stage.
A shared commitment to safety is a core value at PEMCAS, which simplifies the duties of the PSDP when we are your design partner. We also offer PDSP services as part of our overall project management services, or as a standalone offering. Our PDSP services include:
Conducting risk assessments, site visits, inspections, and compliance audits.
Analyzing operations to identify gaps in regulatory compliance and suggest solutions.
Liaising between the project and the HSA.
Consulting with contractors to ensure that all roles specified in legislation are filled by competent individuals or companies.
Furnishing documentation such as SOPs, method statements and safety statements.
Conducting bespoke operator training, including inductions.
Conducting “learnings” into clear documentation for use in future projects.
Our experienced, multidisciplinary team has extensive knowledge of health and safety requirements across a range of industries, and can work with you to ensure that your project will be a safe, compliant one, while still meeting your highest expectations.
